I made a range of artifical foods such as pies, kipper fish, quails, mushrooms and strawberries and a break away lobster for a scene in which the lobster body is snapped in half.
This involved the sculpting of each piece and painting.

I made a stab rig for a stab scene and gave the handles for the real and rubber knife a rope wrap finish so they could be matched while still in keeping with the period.

The Tv series called for rubber replica's of a craft knife which needed to be actor safe for a fight scene.
I made a mold of the original knife and produced a rubber replica and then did a matching paint job.
I also rigged the the prop knife to produce blood during a slice action.

The prop design for this play included the fabrication of a bloody human bone and goats testicles. 
I hand sculpted and painting these props . I also stripped down tree stumps, made them stage and actor safe and gave a finishing paint job.

Prop design consisted of bringing realism to surreal moments in the play in which our characters find themselves spitting black gunge, pulling handfuls of soil from their bodies and having teeth removed.
Prop fabrication for this play included the making of  three  wearable silicone baby bumps representing three stages of pregnancy.

The prop design for this play included the fabrication of a sock puppet. Fabrication of miniature luggage and piano hand sculpted and painted, as well as many small hand props representing travel to London.

The prop design for this play included the fabrication of two solid blood pools used in the final scene, revealing the murder of Medea's sons. 
In this telling of Medea Hoodoo ritual was used by Medea.

Props were made and altered for the uses of Hoodoo rituals by the women, such as a small water well, flower petals and made hoodoo items and candles.

This play portrayed the behind the scenes production of Romeo and Juliet. The back stage was established through alot of the the set dress and props such as a visible prop table and dressing room, quick change area costume rack, headsets, cue sheets and stage management report folders . This play also called for props that would be used for the Romeo and Juliet production within the play. Props included the fabrication of a large roast pig and a skewer holding eight quails.

Prop design for this play included the dressing out of the university office book case, which also doubled as a hotel bed. It was important to distinguish the two spaces from each other and define the university space from the hotel room.

The university applications and student case files were represented in detail to give weight to the scholarship process.

This play was a absurdist portrayal on two events - a sexual assault and a car accident. Victims guilt, accountability and blame are explored and flipped many times as are the timelines and the reality of each of the characters interactions.
The props for this show were made to be realistic  contrast to the absurd action such as a fabricated cherry pie which oozes blood,  fabricated hook prosthetic, and artificial snow balls.

The prop design for this production of Three Sisters was traditional in terms of period. Several period pieces were sourced, such as an 1800's pram and camera. Set dressing included period furniture, traditional Russian edible dinner, and a fabricated honey cake made for the show. 
  
Prop Design - Fuente Ovejuna - American Conservatory Theatre - 2018

Set in the village of Fuente Ovejuna, Spain, and based on an uprising in 1476, the props for this play were based on this time period and included a crossbow, farming tools and artificial foods.
Fabricated props included the period shepherds sling and decapitated head.
 


 
Prop Design - The Bacchae - American Conservatory Theatre - 2018

Produced by American Conservatory Theatre

For this production of The Bacchae, movement was very important to the re-enactment. The props were made to compliment these movement and dance sequences.

Props included wands made with hair which flowed with the movement of the actors. Headbands where also made from raffia straw, made with raffia tails that flowed with the movement and created a subtle brushing sound.
